No-Code Tool Tip: Relume Component Kit
If you're a marketer working in the tech industry, you know that creating digital marketing assets can be a time-consuming and expensive process. Hiring developers and designers, outsourcing work, or trying to learn how to code yourself can take up valuable time and resources that could be better spent on other aspects of your job. That's where no-code technology comes in – it offers a way to create digital marketing assets quickly and easily, without the need for any coding knowledge. In this tool tip series, we'll look at our favorite no-code tools we use at Mighty & True and talk about why we love them so much.
Today's review is one of the best no-code tools on the market today is Relume.io.
What are component kits:
We love component kits and use them all the time. But not everyone knows what they are. A component kit is a collection of pre-designed and pre-built UI (user interface) elements that can be used to create digital products, such as websites, mobile apps, and desktop applications. These UI elements include buttons, menus, forms, icons, and other interactive elements that are essential for building an effective and visually appealing user interface.
A component kit can be thought of as a library of reusable UI elements that can be combined and customized to create unique designs and layouts. By using a component kit, designers and developers can save time and ensure consistency in their designs, since they don't have to create each UI element from scratch.
Many component kits are designed to work with popular design tools and frameworks, such as Sketch, Figma, and React. This makes it easy for designers and developers to integrate the kit into their existing workflow and build high-quality UIs with ease.
That's where Relume comes in. Relume is a leading component kit for Figma and Webflow. We use it every day to create landing pages and web designs at amazing speed. Using the relume components, we simply copy fully responsive components, paste them into Figma and/or Webflow and get to work.
Here's some of the best things we like about Relume:
"If you’re looking for a high-quality Figma component library, then Relume is definitely worth checking out. Not only does it offer an extensive library of components, but it also comes with great customer support and an active community." - UX Design
An amazing set of pre-made components
Out of the box, Relume comes with hundreds of components from hero's, to feature sections to nav bars to just about anything else you'd need to design a site. Their easy search and copy function enables our designers to find the right component structure, copy the component online and then paste it right into their Figma or Webflow designs. This process allows us to get to design faster and actually makes us MORE creative, since we don't need to worry about the structure of the components and keeping them responsive, etc... We really haven't found a component need that they don't have.
Additionally, the components are un-styled and come with an easy to update style guide for customizing global items in seconds vs. hours.
UI Elements and Icons
In addition to the traditional components available, the Relume pros created full page templates, icons and even UI elements that can be copied into any design. Even things like pagination and client-first structure can be copied and pasted into designs in seconds. They have really thought beyond the traditional components to the smallest elements of items that make site buiding time-consuming.
The Relume Chrome Extension
We love the companion chrome extension that is part of the Relume platform. It streamlines our Webflow development workflow by enabling access to components inside of Webflow and the ability to sync components with our style guides. Keeping classes up to date and synched is always a pain in Webflow, but the extension allows duplicate classing to be a thing of the past with instant class synch. Class Sync enables us to automatically sync components with classes, preventing class duplication. We simply toggle on Class Sync and copy a component into our Webflow project an the work is done.
Design in Figma, launch in Webflow
Figma and Webflow are two of the hottest design tools in the creative community today. Though we still use Adobe tools extensively, we do see reasons to start transitioning to both of these tools for many of our customer work. Relume offers a FREE Figma component kit that is fully functional. Using this free kit, marketers can test the Relume / Figma library at no risk and then, once the designs are complete, they can quickly be rebuilt using the same components in Webflow. There really is no faster way to design and dev than these two amazing tools.
Vibrant Slack Community
One of the best things about Relume is the active and supportive Slack community that any user can gain access to. Better than a knowledgebase or support team, this extended community is committed to helping each other and keeping the Relume kit growing. The Relume team also asks for new component requests often and launches updated components monthly.
Give Relume a try
Overall, the Relume kit is an invaluable tool for marketers looking to create digital marketing assets quickly and efficiently. With its intuitive interface, extensive library of templates and components, and seamless integrations with other popular marketing tools, Relume is a game-changer for anyone looking to improve their workflow and take their marketing efforts to the next level.
