AI Use Case: Automating the video creation process
In our latest post, we discuss the use of AI, specifically ChatGPT, to streamline the video storyline creation and promotion process. Our aim was to use AI to create a summary storyline for a video, assist in organizing the content into a script, and help produce associated marketing assets.
We will walk you through the steps we took, using the example of a cloud-based security product using innovative SDP technology. We included general strategies in our prompts and fine-tuned them repeatedly to achieve the desired outcomes.
Step 1: Video Creation and Transcription
Our starting point was a customer's video. To maintain client confidentiality, we'll discuss a hypothetical video about a cloud-based security solution using SDP technology. The first step involved loading the video's transcript into Otter.ai, an AI transcription tool, to generate an accurate text version of the dialogue.

Step 2: Creating an Outline with AI
Next, I instructed ChatGPT to generate an outline based on the transcript. I used the prompt [You are a video copywriter specializing in tech. Using the raw transcript from this video interview, create a narrative arc and include headings for each section of the storyline.] After receiving the AI's initial draft, I refined it to match the video's key theme.

Step 3: Incorporating Quotes into the Outline
To enrich the content, I asked the AI to identify key quotes from the transcript and incorporate them into the outline. This allowed us to highlight expert insights and integrate video quotes into the storyline.

Step 4: Creating a Video Summary
I asked the AI to generate a video summary using the refined outline. The AI draft captured the essence of the video and was tweaked to emphasize unique selling points. This summary was saved for use in Steps 6 and 7.

Step 5: Finalizing the Video
With the summary and outline, I collaborated with the video production team to finalize the video. After production, I reviewed the video to ensure adherence to our predetermined storyline, reusing our transcription AI if necessary.

Step 6: Creating a Landing Page using the Video Summary
I used ChatGPT to write engaging copy for the landing page that would promote the video. The AI's draft emphasized the video's unique storyline and was adjusted to match the client's brand voice.

Step 7: Crafting Email Marketing Content using the LP Content
Finally, to promote the video and product, I used ChatGPT to create a series of engaging emails. The AI drafts featured catchy subject lines, persuasive pre-headers, and effective email copy. With minor tweaks to cater to the target audience, a compelling email marketing campaign was ready to launch.

Conclusion:
The process was engaging and mirrored how we experiment with AI in many of our projects. We discovered that using AI enabled us to create high-quality, engaging video content efficiently, combining human creativity with artificial intelligence. This process also highlighted AI's potential in tech marketing, revealing numerous possibilities for innovation and performance optimization for our customers' projects.
