🔥 6Sense's 2024 B2B Buyer Experience Report

6Sense's long-awaited 2024 B2B Buyer Experience Report is out. This 60+ page report digs into what really matters for B2B buyers, from personalization to transparency.

Similar to other trends around B2B buyers looking for a more consumer-like experience, today's B2B buyers expect seamless digital interactions. Most are doing extensive research long before they even talk to sales. Some great nuggets:

  • 83% of US buyers make the first contact with their shortlist vendors first. With this, awareness and brand intent becomes more important than ever.
  • A total of 4.5 vendors are considered in any considered B2B purchase.
  • The number of people on the buying team has increased to nearly 11 individuals. Strategies to target buying groups vs. just individuals are imperative to provide the aircover needed across the broadening buying group.

🆓 Google launches a $0 training on Gemini

Looking to sharpen your AI skills within Google Workspace? Google Cloud Skills Boost just launched tailored mini-courses (30 min. or less 🥰) you can quickly explore how to leverage Gemini across the suite of Google apps, making those routine tasks faster and more efficient.

For busy tech marketers, this could mean more time focused on strategy and less on admin work.

Check out the full course(s) here.

🔩 Tools and Events

Firefly Video: Adobe launches Firefly Video Model 🪲. Promising to simplify the video editing process, this generative AI tool helps you produce and refine video content more efficiently.

It seems ideal for tech marketers who want to add video to their content arsenal but struggle getting lost in the technical weeds.

Curious about how it works?

Other items we're monitoring

We're continually looking for useful new tools, training, and events that will help tech marketers get more done. Here's the latest list:

  • Question Base: A Slack bot that documents knowledge and helps answer FAQs 📝.
  • Nex: Chrome extension that summarizes videos & articles, and saves them for later use. Perfect for content creation for blogs and newsletters (don't mind if we do) 👀.
  • Inbox Zero: Helps keep your inbox automated and most importantly helps block cold emails 📧 (we probably all need this).
