📈 How AI is driving personal productivity and business growth

Just how is this AI thing actually helping people and business (vs. destroying careers)? According to HubSpot, the future is bright for businesses that use AI, as well as the people using AI. In their recent AI report, Hubspot an hopeful 68% of marketing leaders report positive ROI on AI investments. Could the same be said of their marketing automation investments early on?

If you've been down on AI lately, check out the report here for the latest in the successes businesses are reporting using AI.

🤑 The AI lobbyists are taking over Washington, DC

You had to know this was coming. According to OpenSecrets, lobbying for AI causes in our US political scene has seen a 7562% increase since 2016 with now over 460 organizations spending on federal lobbying. In fact, in the first quarter of 2024, nearly 90 new organizations started their first lobbying efforts in what is likely to be a busy year for AI arm-twisting in DC.

What does this mean for tech marketing? Well, some of the tech giants involved include Apple, IBM and Microsoft, so besides their obvious interests in their products, they are surely also pushing for new communication standards that could affect B2B marketing and content creation.
