🤝 G2's B2B software buying trends report

If you sell B2B software, this buyer behavior report by G2 is a great resource for uncovering new trends in how software is evaluated and purchased. One interesting nugget... turns out 70% of buyers want a fully digital self-serve model for their purchasing decisions—no more sales calls needed 👀!

🧠 Smarter creative storytelling with AI? Hmmmm....

Does AI make us more or less creative? This University of Exeter Business School study tasked 300 participants with writing a short, eight-sentence ‘micro story’ for a target audience of young adults. The results? Researchers found that AI made those deemed less creative produce work that was up to 26.6% better written and 15.2% less boring!

However, they also discovered that while individual creativity soars, the collective originality might take a hit. Pretty interesting read if you use generative AI for storytelling needs. You can read the full article here.

❎ X trends for 2024

Halfway through 2024 and the numbers are in for Q2 on X! Here's what we know: Around 361.9 billion seconds were spent on X daily, up 8% from last year.

What’s the big buzz for 2024? [cue drumroll 🥁] Video, baby! Q2 saw a whopping 8.2 billion daily video views, soaring 45% higher year over year. If you asked us, we're sort of surprised.
