As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a for a pivotal leadership role to compliment our executive team as a VP, Agency Operations.

As the VP of Agency Operations at Mighty & True, your primary focus is ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the agency, achieving growth targets, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, and translating the Visionary’s (CEO) ideas into actionable plans that drive results. In this vital role, you’ll serve as the Integrator, overseeing day-to-day operations, developing and implementing strategic plans, and fostering a culture of systems development and continuous improvement / innovation. You will work closely with the Visionary to ensure their creative and strategic visions are executed seamlessly across all functions within the organization.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies and tactical plans that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations and departmental staff of the agency, ensuring teams are productive, efficient, and aligned with company goals.
• Collaborate with the Visionary (CEO) to ensure the company’s vision is executed effectively.
• Monitor and evaluate operational processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure financial objectives are met by managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the agency.
• Build and maintain a two-year organizational chart to plan for future growth and attract talent.

Tactical Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly meetings with the leadership team to review progress, identify issues, and develop solutions (IDS: Identify, Discuss, Solve).
• Implement evaluations for objective evaluation and management of employees.
• Oversee the recruitment process to ensure the agency attracts and retains top talent.
• Ensure client projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Monitor customer satisfaction to ensure that customers are happy and accounts are growing.
• Develop and maintain operational manuals and SOPs for all processes and systems.
• Assist in onboarding and training new employees, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Promote and uphold the agency’s core values, ensuring all team members are aligned with the company’s mission and values.
• Report operational issues, challenges, and needs to the CEO and/or agency management to avoid client or staff attrition.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate for the VP of Agency Operations role at Mighty & True is an energetic leader with a proven track record in operational excellence within a fast-paced agency environment. You are a strategic thinker and effective Integrator who can turn the Visionary's big ideas into actionable plans that deliver results. Your ability to oversee day-to-day operations, manage cross-functional teams, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation is critical to this role.

Qualifications:

- At least 5-7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the marketing, advertising, or tech sectors.
- Strong understanding of B2B digital marketing trends, dynamics and practical digital marketing tactics (ABM, Paid Media, Search, Web, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies that drive business growth.
- Proven experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to meet financial targets.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development, performance management, and employee retention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in using operational and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, capable of identifying and addressing operational challenges before they escalate.

Nice to Haves:

- Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience working with no-code and AI-based tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Background in process improvement methodologies (Scale, Traction, eMyth)
- Experience in scaling operations within a growing company.
- Passion for fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
